Chris Pine: Chris Pine was born August 26, 1980, in Los Angeles, California. His father and mother both had acting backgrounds; although his mother later became a practicing psychotherapist. Pine comes from a long family deep rooted history of family actors, so it comes as no surprise that his life eventually led him to a career in film. Along the way however; he did pick up a Degree in English from the University of Berkeley, California and also studied English abroad for a year at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. He then studied theater in San Francisco after graduation.
Pine appeared in many small roles including but not limited to ER, Six Feet Under, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, and Smokin’ Aces. Chris first caught my eye, and I’m sure a lot of other women’s eyes in 2009, when he reinvented Captain James T. Kirk in J.J. Abram’s Star Trek film. Now I’m going to be completely honest here. As completely honest as one can be in an anonymous blog I suppose I am a huge Star Trek fan. Not the crazy let’s go dress up and talk Klingon nonsense, I’m a closet junkie. Most people wouldn’t even know I even like Star Trek, I guess you could call me a closet nerd I suppose.
Except for one thing: I hate the original series. William Shatner, and his swagger, and his macho, I’m so sexy attitude is so laughable to me, that I literally watch it and giggle; and then turn it off. J.J. Abram’s and Chris Pine changed all of that for me. Chris Pine made James T. Kirk SEXY. Something I never thought was even remotely possible. And with Star Trek Into Darkness opening this Friday, I had to let my secret out for the world to hear; Chris Pine, you are sexy, and yes, you are on my ForgiveMeList; you have done the impossible, and made James T. Kirk sexy, and hot and manly and bad-assed in a way that would make any girl moan in delight to have you, so forgive me or not, the secret is out, I like Star Trek, but I also very much like you Chris Pine, kudos to anyone that could make James Kirk sexy tops my ForgiveMeList indeed.
